Addlethorpe is a rural, farming village, situated inland from Skegness and close to Ingoldmells.
Historically it is mentioned in the Doomsday Book and has a variety of Grade Listed buildings, including a Grade 1 listed church, known as The Cathedral of the Marshes.
The Parish Council has 7 members and employs a clerk. Meetings are usually held on the second Tuesday of each month except August (eleven meetings a year) in St Peter's Hall, Ingoldmells as Addlethorpe has no public venue available.
